Weekly pictures.... week 12

De eerste week hier in Nederland dat het echt een beetje lente lijkt te worden.... de deuren blijven af en toe weer open staan, de vraag of ze zonder jas naar buiten mogen, buren zien we vaker en het lijkt allemaal net even wat vrolijker en makkelijker te gaan. 

Remco snapt het fietsen nu ook helemaal en is niet meer te stoppen. Lastig is wel dat hij de oudere kinderen steeds uit de poort ziet gaan.... 'het is daar vast leuker en spannender' moet hij ongetwijfeld denken. Sorry knul, daarvoor ben je nog net even te klein.... dus maar een goed oogje in het zeil houden als er geen 'toezicht' van andere kinderen is (jaja.... ik weet dat ik daar niet op mag en kan vertrouwen!)

The first week here in the Netherlands that it looks like spring is coming.... de doors stay open for a bit, the question to go outside without coats is heard more then once (nooooo, not yet), we see more of the neighbours and it looks like everything goes just a bit easier and smoothly. 

Remco is into cycling now and doesn't want 'no' for an answer. It's a bit difficult that he sees the older kids getting out of the back-street.... 'it must be so exciting and nicer there', are probably his thoughts. Sorry kiddo, you're stil a bit too young to go there on your own..... so I'll keep a close eye on you when there are nog older kids to 'watch' you (yeay yeah, I know, I can not and should not depend on them!). 

Op vrijdag vierden de juffen hun verjaardag.... wat een feest!

On Friday the teachers gave a party for their 'birthdays' ..... how fun!

En de rapporten kwamen mee naar huis.... die zagen er geweldig uit. Sander had het al een tijdje over een diabolo en was helemaal enthousiast toen hij zag dat dat in het pak zat. Hij is flink aan het oefenen. Op internet kijken we ook nog naar tips en trucs, want behalve het tempo maken wat nu aardig lukt, valt het nog niet mee iets extra ermee te doen. 

Tessa is al maanden aan het sparen voor een eenwieler.... ze hoeft hiervan maar de helft te betalen (dat doen we met alle grotere dingen die ze willen hebben), maar nu is hij besteld voor haar.... Ze weet het zelf nog niet, maar het is een pracht-exemplaar in het knalgeel, hopelijk is hij er morgen of dinsdag, wat zal ze opkijken!

And on Friday also the report cards came...... they were outstanding. Sander had been talking about a diabolo for a while now and was so excited to see that he now got one. He is practising a lot. On the net we are looking for tips and tricks, because apart from speeding up, we don't know what we can do more (or esecially how!).

And Tessa is saving for a one-wheeler for months now .... she only needs to pay for half of it (we do this with all bigger items they want), but now I ordered it through the internet.... She doesn't know it, and oh what a beauty it is..... bright yellow (her favorit collor).... hopefully it will be here soon, can't wait to see her face.
