pechvogels!

How cool the hype of this moment.... unicycles..... you see them everywhere. Tessa has one.... but you won't see her on it for a while (and as she claims right now, will she ever).... 'cause yesterday evening, she broke her collar bone.....

She is one with character though, our chickie... if you see the position of the bone (on the picture), you can hardly believe her saying it's not too bad. The night was not too good.... from (nurse) sista I got the question why I didn't give her any painkillers for the night.... eeehmmm.... it was not too bad, right?
...  *blush*....

she got the painkillers in the night... don't worry. Oh and the next day you (of course) go to school and give your presentation about giraffes, right.... an A+!

And here our second unfortunate kid.... they went on a field trip to the farm with school and there it turns out that he is indeed allergic to horses (he had a mild allergy attack last year that followed contact with a horse, but that never reappeared).... At first only the left eye, later the right eye follow. With medication the bulging goes down a bit right now (after about 3 hours).

Oh Gracious!!! Poor kiddos and poor mommy!!! Give them hugs from their cyber auntie and save one for you too! I had an allergic reaction like that too (though mine was because of medication)- not fun!

Och wat zielig! Wat ziet Sander eruit! Dat lijkt me echt enorm schrikken!
